The best feature of laminates is undoubtedly their affordability. They also are available in a wide variety of styles so you're sure to find something that will appeal to you. But compared to some other materials, laminates scratch easily, scorch easily, and chip easily, especially at the edges.

Manufacturers of laminate countertops include Formica and Wilsonart. Granted, we don't have many examples of our work with laminates, but that's because these materials are generally entry-level, and most of our customers are looking to upgrade their kitchens.
